Today we had fun learning all about the mummification process. We took a deep dive into a rabbit hole during our lesson from #gatherroundhomeschool #ancientcivilizations! We explored mummies and pyramids today. Watched a ton of fun videos, including a few that showed us the inside of a pyramid. These cute rice Krispy treat mummies were the best treats to go along with them.

✅ a straw
✅ diluted tempera paints
✅ paper
✅ a dropper for your paints
✅ a cookie sheet or somewhere to contain the mess!

Do it yourself liquid sidewalk chalk! This was a fun and MESSY activity to make.

Instruction:

Mix in equal parts cornstarch and baking soda.
Add water until you get the consistency you want.
Pour mixture into plastic containers.
Add food dye, close lid, and shake to mix.
Have fun!
